我是新手在装free BSD上遇到了些问题大家可以帮帮我吗

郁闷
我也不知道怎么设置的,用stand/sysinstall/xf86config
的第2项乱设置了一通居然可以进去了
啊~~~~~~~~~倒地~~~~~~~~~呕吐~~~~~~~3碗血~~~~~然后爬起来继续玩操作系统

哈哈谢谢大家,尤其是freebird兄弟没他在我不可能把这系统装起来

图形界面到是出来了,在用户名处我输入root密码处我没设,进不去啊

还有就是,每次进人系统都要先到命令界面下输入KDM才能进系统啊

默认就是这样的,你必须自己运行startx,或者xdm,kdm。如果你不想这样,你也可以进行一些设置来让KDM自启动,但我还是推荐你使用startx启动X.

没设密码进不去??不明白。没设密码还会要求你输入密码吗?我还是推荐你不要直接用root进行登陆,这样很容易导致许多问题,你可以使用wheel组中一般用户进行登陆,必要的使用使用su,这样会比较安全一点。

请问一下我在命令提示符下,已经以ROOT用户进系统了,为什么用KDM进入图形界面还要输入用户名和密码啊,这点还真的没龙明白,要是设置密码了我怎么在命令提示符下进系统啊

你怎么把xf86config给删了,注意文件名的大小写。是/etc/X11/XF86Config。另外,xf86config不好用,用/stand/sysinstall里面的:Configure->XFree86->xf86cfg -textmode

我在Vwmare中安装,就是配不到X Windows,一配就黑屏?不知为何?
