ltmodem驱动了kppp能找到它，拔号了就没拔号音

装之前用scanmodem的工具扫了一下,什么也没显示,是不是我下的这个包不支持这个modem?
我先后装过的驱动（在论坛里找的）ltmodem-kv_2.4.20_8-8.26a9-1.i686.rpm
－》ltmodem-8.26a9.tar.gz
装的过程好像没麻烦,最后autoload后,
我用了kppp拨号,提示说没有拨号音,在设备里换了几个也不行.请大家看看我的驱动对不对
哪儿有正确下载的或这种猫根本不支持?

这个驱动我个人认为不太好，主要有两个问题：
1、安装后系统无法自动找到/dev/modem，但是通过ppp拨号是可以的；
2、用ppp成功拨号后，无法解析域名，浏览网站；
这两个问题，我和该驱动的作者联系过，第2个问题可以解决，但是第1个问题到现在也没有办法解决，他就在上海。在rh8.1中一切正常，升级到rh9后出现了问题。
胸闷！

装上：

在kppp里：设备=>>/dev/modem后，在调制解调器=>>查询调制解调器 显示：调制解调器准备就绪
设置好铁通的拔号201，,1232313..... 连接=>> 显示正在连接
可是一会儿出现没有拔号音的框来了
我在magic1.1里也是这样的情况
请问这怎么解决啊？

下载的是不是这个，是不是都再重下一次

设置kppp，请运行#kppp
然后按[设置]=》帐号=》对话框设置=》在帐号处添上你在windows上网用的帐号。

在设备=》换一下[调制解调器设备]，直到找到设备为止，多试几次。
