linux比windows费电

因为学习sqlserver的缘故，我装了个win，发现，我的本子电池供电能用到一个半小时了，，以前用linux的时候只有一个小时的样子，，，不论是arch还是debian，，，难道linux比windows费电？还是我没有设置好？

确实，由于内存管理等方面的差异，linux会比windows更耗电一点。

这个很早就讨论过吧。不说笔记本，我的台式机在Linux下风扇声音很大，重启进Windows明显安静了。

我这里linux下和xp下差不多，毕竟compiz要显卡嘛。比vista，7不知道好多少了

跑的东西不一样自然没法比，linux在关掉多数后台服务诸如dbus、去掉udev，然后跑纯terminal下面用试试，这样某些就会说ms是集成的这样不公平...
总之，一个集成的、一个完全可以把X放到强劲的主机上而只用客户端的东东，理念不同、个人设置不同，太多的不同，没得比的

同意楼上的，降频根本没用

风扇的转速是由 BIOS 控制和调节的。BIOS会根据主板或CPU的温度来调节转速。

CPU 降频会减少发热量，因此肯定会让风扇慢下来。

如果风扇仍然全速转动，就需要检查BIOS上的相关选项是否打开了，并检查主板或CPU的温度（安装lm_sensors）。超过65度，风扇肯定要开的。
