安装好XP+Fedora8双系统后的一些疑问~！

先安装XP再安装fedora8（光盘安装），过程一切顺利。但有以下疑问请教高手。

1.安装完F8重启后，没有出现配置向导。就是可以设置一个普通用户，可以选择关闭防火墙和SELINUX等等的步骤，我记得原来再虚拟机上安装是有的啊~！？还用一块硬盘单独安装过似乎也是有的，但这次安装却没有出现，安装好后就直接进入登录界面，且没有其他用户，但可以使用ROOT登录，这样是否是正常的~！？   (已解决，手动设置ip地址后正常)

2.安装NV驱动问题。如何判断驱动安装成功~！？
   PS：参照网上搜索的文章，在系统里却找不到XF86CONFIG文件。可以找到xorg文件，但是没有可以添加 Load "glx" 及 注释 Load "dri" 和 Load "Glcore"的字段。启用 nvidia-settings可以设置保存合适的分辨率及刷新率，不过启动时没有NV图标出现。
