4. FTP images have been made available tonight, while CORE images
   
5. will be pushed tomorrow night in order to distribute the load.

8. based on a true live Arch system. That is, what's on the
   
9. images is just a plain old base installation which just
   
10. happens to boot off of a CD or USB stick.

13. right, from here on out we'll be offering bootable USB disk
    
14. images that can act as a live system or installer.

16. The installer script itself is roughly the same as it's always
    
17. been. The most noticable change is the use of UUIDs instead of
    
18. sdX/hdX entries by default. A more detailed changelog
    
19. should be visible on projects.archlinux.org soon-ish.

21. If you get the chance, please give the images a spin. You can
    
22. find them on our mirrors, in the
    
23. iso directory. Please file bugs if you encounter any problems.

25. By the way, the "RC" status of these images should not be a
    
26. turn-off if you're looking to install Arch, there's a very
    
27. good chance they'll work just fine for you.

Archlinux 2008.04-RC 是第一个基于真实的 live Arch 系统的版本。除了原本支持的光盘引导之外，还支持 USB 引导。此外，这个版本也默认使用 UUID 替换了 sdX/hdX 条目

不是很明白什么意思，是官方版本么？以前的那些iso也可以叫live cd把。

如果现在这ftp能和以前那样硬盘安装，并且包含了X，那就太强大了。。居然把x集成在img里面了。。额
