我是下载debian-40r1-i386-netinst.iso硬盘安装的。
装完基本系统后在源中同时添加了stable源和lenny/testing的源。
update下后继续安装桌面环境(xfce4)，没有upgrade
安装时都是用apt-get，没有用aptitude

费了一番周折后终于装上了xfce，但与用stable的源安装时不同的是
1、安装时xfce4似乎得先安装xfce4-session之类
2、最后用dpkg-reconfigure时没有检测到显卡ID，但能正常驱动。之前用stable源时能正确识别ID（之前都装了discover），显示器到是检测到了，但必须用高级(手动)配置才能使刷新率正常，如果选中级→1024*768@85Hz之类，最后的刷新率是不正常的。
3、最后cat xorg.conf时发现居然没有Module节，但
ls /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/
显示有
libdbe.so  libextmod.so  libglx.so     libxtrap.so
libdri.so  libGLcore.so  librecord.so
4、其它一些小问题，如gdm字体太小、u盘中文乱码等都得手工解决。


附上我安装的过程，装完基本系统后：

apt-get install xfce4-session xfce4-panel xfwm4-themes fam
apt-get install xfce4 menu dbus hal pmount xfce4-terminal xfmedia eject mousepad synaptic iceweasel xarchiver gtk2-engines
apt-get install alsa-base alsa-utils

alsaconf
设置xorg.conf和声卡

您到底想用testing还是stable呢？
如果是testing为什么不upgrade呢？
再者混用源本来就是不推荐的
