[求助 ]Fedora7无法使用1280*800分辨率

我用的笔记本电脑
Ati Radeon Mobility X1400这个系统可以自己识别出来

安装了官方的驱动ati-driver-installer-8.40.4-x86.x86_64.run后也不能用1280*800分辨率，在显示设置里调整为ati--radeon XXX，重启后无法进入X Window……我已经快要崩溃了…… 刚刚尝试一下Linux就遇到了这个难题……

真的请各位大师帮帮忙了…… 我Google了很多信息，所有方法几乎都是遍了……

我也是笔记本，   也是ATI    不过是X2300  装的1400的驱动。     现在就是1280＊800，  

只是用不了XGL 3D桌面。。。           也许可以，但我没找到方法。

我以前设3D桌面时在里面加了几行，不过也没有管用， 但也没有让我进不去。。。     我用＃标下了。   最后几那一段好像也没有用， 记不清了。。

就是我用软件包安装删除管理器怎么从Fedora7的安装盘上添加软件包？
