partition table error

i have harddisk 160 sata and i installed winxp &linux on it and in one day tried to resize partition size by partition magic i found the partition have yellow color in partition magic and tell me partitiontable error

First of all， do NOT use partition magic crap！

If you want someone else to assist you, you should provide as much details as possible.  It may be good to see your current partition layout.

i am very happey cause one replay for me any way thanks the layout of the hard is yellow color in partition magic and write on it "partition table error " i want to know what happen  when i open hard disk with partition magic why it cant see the hard is the problem cause "linux & partition magic "

I don't use PQ crap， I can't tell.

If you really want to resize your partitions， then you should：

1. Backup everything important， although it is quite safe to resize partitions today， it is hard to predict any accidents.
2. Don't carry the resize operations on a running system，you may boot up a Linux LiveCD such as GParted LiveCD to carry out the operation
