help:about smbfs

hi,
help:
when i execute the command:
mount -t smbfs //192.168.120.1/blfscdrom /mnt -o usrname=user

there are errors:
ERROR: smbfs filesystem not supported by the kernel
Please refer to the smbmnt(8) manual page
smbmnt failed: 255

and i execute :modprobe -vn smbf
the response is :FATAL: Module smbf not found.

do i required to recompile kernal?
are there any other ways to solve this problem?
and how to configure the kernal to support smbfs?

perhaps spell error?
"and i execute :modprobe -vn smbf"
if it is not, you can use the last kernel config, than add smbfs option to module,
make it, make install
that's ok
