自定义的系统无法引导(grub相关)

在学习裁剪系统，如下配置，在/dev/hda8中做了自己的小系统，可启动时，
内核提示 switch new root
kernel panic
提示 exec /sbin/init : no such file or directory.
可/dev/hda8中确实有这个文件啊。

内核用FC5带的内核。请大家帮我看看，先谢谢了。
