真是看不懂了，这样的参数也能起动？不是usb硬盘需要有内存虚拟盘起动吗？

It depends on how the initrd is defined.  More precisely, how the init script (i.e. linuxrc) start up your system.

Your method is the most common way of a Gentoo system.

楼主的整个系统就有一个usb硬盘吗？
如果是的话，那么用U盘也是能这样启动的吗？
另外grub的配置中，也有一个root＝(hd0,8)，说明楼主还是有一个IDE硬盘的吧？？

我的整个系统是usb硬盘,所谓的hd0,8也是指向usb硬盘,这个是grub的命名的方式
