I think java in linux is running faster that windows...isn't it??
is it just because the GUI is easier in linux than windows??
analyze it for me please
otherside linux GUI usually crash... and can easily loss datas when loss power ,just because the HardDisk cache... , but how to resolve the problem??? to disable the catch? the DISK my be slower....
i think linux is good but not good enough....
OH MY GOD, what comment this is !
And as far as I know, GUI by Java is built via JVM, as well as java graphics libraries which are platform(OS) independent. If you should say Java softwares with GUI under Linux run faster than their counterparts under MS Windows, the credits all go to JVM, which is the only part that is different between the two platforms.
As to GUI by Qt, GTK or other Linux/Unix -only graphics libraries, I don't have much to say right here. But it is for sure that it has noting to do with Java.
