求救：lib\modules下的所有东东都没有了?

本来想装个oscar的，可不知怎么搞得，无缘无故/lib/modules下所有的文件都被删了，导致上不了网。
而且，想重新编译一个新内核也总是失败（以前可以的）
请问怎么办啊，该不会要重装一遍吧，谢谢！

Download and re-install kernel binaries, not re-compile kernel source codes.

My distribution system is RedHat 9.0, current kernel is 2.4.20-8
