刚才看了一下 Ubuntu 的 wiki，找到下面的描述：

有了这个图形化的d-i，降低安装门槛，相信ubuntu 又要吸引大批的爱好者了。

其实有没有漂亮的图形界面对我真是无所谓，只要稳定好用就行
但是debian现在的安装程序似乎有不少问题，特别是分区这部分

我觉得，Ubuntu的安装虽然是字符的，但也很简明易懂了。我最早的时候用Mandranke9.0，安装界面虽然是图形的，但是由于Linux基础晦涩，看到基本术语还是有点晕。其实最重要的是有Linux的基础，这样安装起来才会得心应手。

winxp 的安装开始的时候不是一样是字符的吗？hehe

初学者要学会怎么安装，不就是学一学分区吗？还有其他的要学吗？hehe

安装程序最重要的就是把硬件检测搞好。好不好看只不过是体力活。

如果安装能图形化,那用户能多很多的,不过还要好几个月,等待是种煎熬啊.
