如何卸载自己安装的GCC3.4.2 ？

以前在redhat9中安装了GCC3.4.2版本的编译器,现在由于安装其它的软件时出错,说是找不到GCC3.3,所以想卸载它,就用安装系统时自己安装的GCC版本.
请问我要如何卸载呢?谢谢!

我装GCC3.4.2时不是用的rpm，使用的是GCC3.4.2.tar.gz，解压之后./configure安装的

Did you tried "make remove" or "make uninstall"?
to remove your gcc, you may refer to the documents comes with the package.
pls be careful when dealing with the lib files. replacing some of them may hung your system during boot up.
