系统启动难题。盼望求解在线等

rh9升级2.6.10内核以后，修改了grub.conf 把默认的启动改为2.6内核。
没有执行grub-install /dev/hda  结果是现在不能进入系统了。
用启动盘，rescue模式  不能加载/dev/hda1 , (计算机上只有一个系统就是linux)
怎么办？

用光盘版本的linux启动也不能进入/dev/hda1

难道我只有重新安装系统了吗？

There is no need to run grub-install again if you already have grub installed in your system. It is very likely your grub.conf or menu.lst is not configured properly.

mount /dev/hda1 失败

You have to know the name of your kernel images and the relevant name of your initrd (if present) and then define their correct path in you grub.conf or menu.lst.

Again, you need not reinstall grub if it is already installed.

Please post your grub.conf (or menu.lst) and your kernel (and initrd) details in /boot if you still encounter problems.

I have forgot it ，now I can't get it because it is not be loaded correctly

in factly , I mounted /dev/hda1 failed at rescue mode

you start your computer ,there give you a promit is no os ,or grub>
if there is grub,then ,look the help of grub ,you can load you os for grub command.
exp: root,kernel ,boot
if there is no os ,you can use liveCD start your computer and install grub .
