CTRL＋空格键 can not open input ,why ?

I have know the PS of fcitx is going well. In the english desktop, I can't use the inputting software. actually I don't want to swith the language to chinese, you know, somethings we can see something we don't know on the screen. I'm using RH9.0. and the fcitx is the newest RPM. I hope someone would help me out, thanks!!!!

楼上的兄弟，我的输入法OK了

在.bashrc 中
加入以下三行
export XMODIFIERS=@im=fcitx
export XIM=fcitx
export XIM_PROGRAM=fcitx

注销就OK了

thx, I do as you told me. I can use it in text editor, but can't use in mozilla.... faint!

进入X的时候，输入法是不是已经打开了，在屏幕上方？
我用的是firefox　浏览器

PS：我 rpm -e 了　minichinput
别的没有什么不同了
