不了解LFS和Gentoo的区别，也不知道那里下载或安装LFS请大侠们指点一二好吗？谢谢了！

Both LFS and Gentoo are source-based distros.  i.e. You must build your system from source codes.

Maybe other brothers will list down more details about them but I don't want to write a lengthy explanation to descrbe their similarities and differences.

In short, both of them need quite long time to build and you must have certain amount of knowledge in Linux operations before you start to build your system.  They are not suitable for anyone new to Linux.

我觉得，主要区别在编译的过程是自动的，还是需要人工干预。

gentoo 最有特点的应该是 emerge，就像 Debian 的 apt-get，需要哪个包，直接输入名字即可，下载下来的源代码是自动编译好的。

而 LFS 的每一个步骤都是手动进行，可以学习的地方更多一点，当然费的时间也更多一点。

lfs id是什么？
