write a script under you ~/.kde/Autostart/ .
Or you can try linking fcitx excutable file to that dir.

BTW, Gentoo has ebuild for fcitx.

Thank you. I have emerged fcitx. But It still can't work, same problems:

seems it has been disabled. The WuBi icon is gray, and I can't active the input method by Ctrl+Space, Ctrl+Shift, Alt+1 or 2... Do you know how to fix it?

Did you ever set your LC_CTYPE=zh_CN in your .bashrc?

I didn't set it when emerging fcitx, but I set it now. It still can't work.

It doesn't matter when do you set it. Did you set it in your .bashrc file and relogin from console?

Try like this:
1, from an xterm, type 'locale', see if LC_CTYPE is correct
2, if it's correct, then type 'xterm' openning another xterm from current one.
3, ctrl-space. If it's still not working then I have no other idea.

But when I type locale in the new xterm I got the same result as above. The ctrl+space still doesn't work.

actually fcitx only need LC_CTYPE set to zh_CN. You can try it. I've never seen errors like "locale not supported by Xlib".

Google it bah. Maybe you have to upgrade your XFree. Can you show the version info of your X?

我按照你的说明汉化了，可是进入kde后把字体设置为Nsimsun英文就会很宽，设置为simsun也一样，只有保持原来的helvatica还可以，中文也能显示，但在mozilla中我设置为simsun还能免强过得去，设置为Nsimsun就很宽，无法浏览网页，请问这是什么原因？谢谢

KDE里面我都是选英文字体的，比如 tahoma ， 中文字体我就留simsun，其他的都删了。

选simsun/nsimsun英文宽的问题，你可以google一下找找firefly的补丁。也可以像我一样对付。不过Tahoma还是比simsun的英文好看。
