下载的最新版本，按搂住说的做，但是grub>boot 之后无法进入console。
提示错误：
最后两句 是这样的，

1. 
   
2. please append a corrent "root=" boot option
   
3. kernel panic -not sysncing:VFS unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(9,0)

不知道 是什么错误，按一楼的安装方法是这个错误，
按十二楼的安装方法错误 和这个差不多 只是 最后变成（0，0）

请教解决方案

我也遇到这个问题,用这个办法解决 你试试 有人说我的办法不行 但我却用了可以了
grub>root (hd0,4)
grub>kernel /vmlinuz root=Lable=/ ramdist_size=20000 devfs=mount,dall
grub>initrd initrd.gz
grub>boot

看比较新的指导，这个太老，0.8版本不需要下载额外的文件，直接从iso里面提取那两个，从grub里面选择，不需要任何参数

本文的方法肯能已经不适用于现在的2007.08了，因为
mount /dev/sda5 /mnt 会与系统挂载分区过程中挂载/根分区冲突，因为根分区也是挂载在/mnt 。我是用mount /dev/sda5 /home 来挂载的。在选择软件包时没什么问题，但是安装软件包却有问题了，

我昨天晚上用ftp安装，在下载完软件包后安装时也提示一大堆错误，大概是什么什么missing了，郁闷，想装arch怎么就那么难呢？？？

wiki上怎么找不到我想要的文章啊，怎么搜索来的？

使用test中的2008.03ISO安装。

可以看置顶帖子里面。最好是看wiki，选zh_CN，全部都是中文的，不错把，什么都有

超级崩溃，我完全按照wiki上的说明装的，可是还是出错了，是在installing pachages的时候，具体的错误信息是
beginning  upgrade process...

不會看出錯信息麽...
上面不適說了menu.lst 已經存在
另外 懷疑你的linux基礎有問題

arch 沒那麽難裝 大不了chroot 指定本地源 自己解包裝
