like Reiser4 ,Win4lin,even NVIDIA and ATI drivers (in lastest 2.6.11-rc5-nitro0,but I compile it fail).

So,you mean the fbsplash patch contains the vesafb-tng patch or I still have to apply the vesafb-tng pathc separately? According to the document you specified,I could not find anything about vesafb-tng.

要想控制台的刷新率上75或者85，就要用vesa-tng的patch，fbpatch没有包含 了vesa-tng.
spock的网页中vesa-tng的patch常没跟上新的kernel的，但是一些其他很出名的kernel patch中
包含了fbsplash 和vesa-tng,例如 nitro 和cko 2个kernel patch，他们还包含了reiser4 的patch，
nitro还包含了win4lin的patch，而且nitro的版本更新的很快，都跟着kernel的版本跟得很紧。
      
2.6.11的kernel 稳定版今天刚发布了，nitro的2.6.11 patch也已经出来了，cho的还没去看

谢谢!看来我要先试试nitro的patch了还有个问题:如果本来就有了initrd.img,如何把包含splash image的initrd.img文件加进去?

这样的话,要改theme就会很麻烦,还要重新编译,不知cat initrd-splash.img >> initrd.img-2.6.11行不行?刚看了一下nitro的patch,发现它用的fbsplash和vesafb-tng的版本跟spock是一样的,暂时不用了,因为内核已驹诒嘁肓,先看看效果吧.

进度条有问题,进到五分之一就跳到verbose模式了,那个init.d下的fbsplash脚本也有问题,启动时运行失败,登录后再运行又可以了
