if you still can not find it, you may need to install sndconfig rpm. Actually, I think you can try ALSA either.

我的setup里没有Sound card configuration
也没有/sbin/sndconfig
晕！

用ALSA,需要什么条件呀 ？

我安装了sndconfig然后运行/sbin/sndconfig
检测pnp声卡，结果：
在运行 modprobe 程序时出现了下列错误：                         │
       │                                                                │

       │ init_module: No such device                                    │
       │ /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/sound/trident.o: insmod   │

       │ /lib/modules/2.4.20-8/kernel/drivers/sound/trident.o: insmod   │
       │ sound-slot-0 failed

ok,不过我想只道这种找不到trident.o是不是 因为没装驱动？

我感觉也是如此，因为我在Fedora中发现有这个驱动，在RH中也应该有。
