Redhat 8.0 不能进入桌面环境？

今天我遇到和你一样的问题，我是这样解决的：
首先到下面页面：

安照要求下载一个845G的显卡驱动程序，
之后进入linux字符界面，并按上面话的把驱动上并重启就可以了

有关网络的设置怎么样的？ 我的机还不能上网
network.  netmask分别是什么东东？ipaddr是ip吧？
onbboot   name   booadcast怎么设置？
我乱填了一下，然后ping了一下我的ip   然后显示：
64 bytes from 172.16.20.247；icmp-seq＝```  tt1＝64  time＝``ms      
``````  无穷个这样的文字  搞的要重启才结束。什么意思的？
设置网络就只在ifcfg－lo里么？还有没有其他地方要设置的？

我现在也遇到同样的问题，就是输入startx后显示上面信息，进不了x win。
但我的版本是rh8.0的（南北兄的方法不适用），怎么办？

兄弟，一定与显卡有关，其中错误信息“No devices detected”是对硬件的！最好重新配置一下，用redhat-config-xfree86；与其它什么XFS（错误信息是找不到字库）没有任何关系。
也不排除南北兄弟所说的与SMP有关。
