用DEBIAN的用户,你们为什么选择DEBIAN不选择UBUNTU

先是用的ubuntu总是感觉不适应，后来用了debian稳定高效很自然，不过用的是stable的有些工具版本太低了。现在用的是Gentoo，不过还是超喜欢debian。

我最先接触的Linux发行版是Ubuntu，ubuntu7.04，可是到现在用Debian也快两年了，最好的感觉就是－稳重。很少有麻烦，这样可以一心用电脑来工作了。

我最早用Debian是因为Debian用在Linkstaion上，当时支持Mipsel芯片的系统很少。只有这样～
后来逐渐习惯了，现在新的个人服务器也是这样的了～～

俺是偏执狂，在windows下只装极点五点这个国产软件，后来用ubuntu三天，听说debian是目前最自由的系统，所以一直用到现在。

没什么好争的，ubuntu是站在debian这个巨人肩膀上的，比起站在别人肩膀上，还不如自己做巨人，省得巨人倒下了，自己也什么都没了

The only notable cases where Debian and Free Software Foundation disagree are over the Artistic License and the GNU Free Documentation License. 其实 Debian GNU 关系挺紧密的，Debian GNU/Hurd 是正宗的 GNU。

开源世界疯子比较多。
连 FreeBSD 一帮疯子都在加紧从 base system 中剥离 GPL 东东如 GCC。
我们需要疯子 ;-)
