ATI9600本身就不算是什么太新的卡，用fglrx提升还抵不过fglrx自身的缺陷。开源驱动目前的表现在ATI9600上已经是足够的好了.

sudo modprobe fglrx看看有啥出错信息没有。

按理说pacman -S fglrx之后修改xorg就可以用了，rc.conf里加入fglrx都不用。

请查看xorg的log文件，找(EE)开头的行，这就是出错信息

你到底装了xf86-input-mouse、xf86-input-keyboard这两个驱动了没有？没有鼠标键盘x怎么能起得来。
而且你还是在用ubuntu下面的xorg.conf吧。

最新进展，不是鼠标键盘没驱动，而是xorg.conf的问题，hwd超级牛B，直接生成xorg.conf之后可以启动X，鼠标键盘可以用，但是fglrx还是不可以用，aticonf --initial也不行。

不是hwd牛，用X -configure生成的一样可以用。
