求助!升级内核后修改grub.conf文件!

晕死了,还是不能进入新内核!

你是使用rh自己的升级包升级的还是自己编译的内核？

是我在网上下载的升级包,然后看贴子升级的 ~

我用的是redhat 9
我是在华军下的内核:http://www.onlinedown.net/soft/26192.htm下的linux-2.6.8.1
然后手动把内核放在/usr/src内,手动解压缩!
然后按照http://www.linuxsir.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=68068
文章安装内核
#cd /usr/src/linux-2.6.8.1
#make mrproper
#make menuconfig
#make
#sudo make install
#make modules
#make modules_install
#make install

你确定，在/boot下有没有initrd-2.6.8.1.img这个文件？
还有，如果是从2.4的内核升级的，需要安装mod-init-tools软件。
