在Vmware中的RedHat 9.0中安装VMware Tools出现如下问题！

在执行./install.pl，最后出现如下提示
Before running VMware Tools for the first time,you need to configure it by invoking the following command:"/usr/bin/vmware-config-tools.pl". Do you wantthis program to invoke the command for you now?[yes]

This configuration program is to be executed out oof an XFree86 session. Please shutdown all instances of XFree86.
Execution aborted.
当时我的redhat中没有运行任何的程序，不知如何shut down instances of XFree86.
应该如何操作，请帮助。谢谢！

到控制台下执行第一步试试，我在rh80下好像没这步。

vmware里的网络设备是虚拟的，不是同主机一样.

完全退出xwindows，注意是完全退出，应该连xwindows的登陆窗口也不能有。
然后直接从控制台登陆，应该最好用root用户。
再执行./install.pl试试。
