有没有人用过mac on linux 呀?我到 http://www.maconlinux.com 下载了安装文件.可是文件却是*.ppc.rpm格式的,请问各位老大,那个ppc是什么意思!

我想MOL并不支持x86的硬件~~~~~~~~~~

A: No, MOL can only run on PowerPC hardware since no emulation is performed. However, adding a PowerPC emulator for x86 is under consideration.

This user guide will help you to install, configure and run MOL. The information in this guide is valid for mol-0.9.60. If you are using an earlier version, be aware that some things might have changed. If you do not wish to upgrade to the latest version of MOL (which is hightly recommended), you should probably consult the documentation bundled with your particular version. This documentation is usually located in one of the following two directiories:

/usr/share/doc/mol-0.9.xx
/usr/doc/mol-0.9.xx

Before continuing, you should also be aware of some requrements for running MOL:

– A supported PowerPC™ CPU (604[e], G3 or G4)
– Linux/ppc
– A 2.2 or 2.4 kernel
– MacOS 8.6* or later (9.2.1 is known to work)

* MOL can run MacOS 7.5.2 and later in "oldworld" mode. However, this requires an image of a supported boot ROM.

MOL can run on non-Apple hardware. APUS hardware (Amiga PowerUp System) is currently unsupported, but work is in progress.
