* ported to buildsys v4 + latest makepkg pre 3.3 + our own makepkg patches
* proper groups for debug packages (kdemod-$module-debug instead of just one big kdemod-debug group)
* update KDE version in kde-common/kde-common.install automatically from repo config file
* use phonon from Qt in combination with the backends from KDE's phonon (kdemod-phonon-backend-*)
* add xine, gstreamer and mplayer phonon backends to the repos (kdemod-phonon-backend-*, xine is default)
* complete set of debugging symbols in qtmod-debug (while keeping release build optimizations)
* split konqueror & dolphin packages (dolphin doesnt need anything besides kdebase, konqueror needs dolphin to be installed)
* include all applied patches into the packages (/usr/share/kdemod/patches), so people see what we are doing
* added a fix for the long-lasting system-config-printer-kde crash/bug
* added a fix for proper syslog paths in ksystemlog (thx arch devs)
* branding icons are now compressed
* port our plasma patches to 4.3, add some more of them
* better dolphin default settings, for power users
* XKit support in kdebase, adds some nifty gui options for xorg.conf in systemsettings
* stasks is now our default tasks applet (with some nice default settings)
* disabled logout sounds (saves some seconds) and nepomuk popup spree at first login
* around 450 additional icons (mostly places + some devices and apps)

KDE 4.3: packaged and split
The new major release of KDE does not only include exciting upstream
improvements and new features but also introduces a new set of packages that
makes it possible to only install those applications you like.
All important changes in short:
* split packages; for more Information see
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KDE_Packages and
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:Splitting_KDE
* Qt uses the Gstreamer backend for Phonon by default. Other backends like
phonon-xine can be installed optionally.
* Meta packages ensure a smooth upgrade and emulate the old monolith packages
for those who prefer them.
Important hints for upgraders:
* Check if your mirror is up to date.
* pacman will ask you to replace all kde packages with kde-meta packages.
* Don't force an update. 'If pacman complains about conflicts please file a
bug report.
* You can remove the meta packages and the sub packages you don't need after
the update.
* If you don't like split packages just keep using the kde-meta packages.
Information about upstream changes will be available at
http://kde.org/announcements/4.3/
