在redhat官网看到system v的试用有3个月？！！羡慕啊

   一个月满了的时候，我还能申请一个月吗？没别的意思，只是一个月太少了。要是不能继续申请，是不是只能用centos的源来升级了，最后一个问题就是：我用centos的源升级redhat，会不会出现意想不到的问题？比如：升级完就进不了系统~~~

PS：redhat给我的  Account Number     
                            Contract Number    都只有7位数~~

Can I re-register a test system with Red Hat Network (RHN)?

Yes. As long as you have an available entitlement, you can remove old system profiles and then register a re-installed system with Red Hat Network (RHN). Sometimes this can get confusing, so we will try to explain a little bit about how this process works.

Note: The number of systems subscribed to RHN can not exceed the number of RHN subscriptions that you have. You will need to purchase additional entitlements to match the number of systems that you want subscribed to RHN.

Scenario: 1 RHN entitlement, 1 Test System
You have installed a test system and you have successfully registered it with RHN. You have decided to re-install the Linux operating system. After you complete the installation you re-register this system with RHN only to find out that your subscription limit exceeds the number of entitlements that you have.

In this case, the profile (most likely) still exists on the RHN website. Before you can re-register your system to RHN, you must first remove the existing profile. After you remove the existing profile, you will "free up" or make available the entitlement that was tied to that system profile. Once you have a free entitlement, you can now subscribe your re-installed test system to RHN to update the errata and other packages using up2date.

Note: When attempting to re-register, do not enter your subscription number again. This will result in an error. Choose Existing Subscription. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 1 systems should not send their hardware profiles as it will also hang. The hardware profile can be sent after registration.

没问题，只不过最后你的Redhat慢慢升级成CentOS了，不会进不去系统那么严重。

用 CentOS 源的话，倒不如一开始就用 CentOS 还实在一点... 虽然 CentOS 跟 RHEL 实际上不尽相容，特别在驱动。

CentOS就是去了商标的RHEL，放心用。
