[求助]关于glibc??

最近安装系统的时候遇到个问题
安装的系统是2.4的内核
如果apt-get install ***
然后就提示
Do you want to upgrade glibc now? [Y/n] Y

The installation of a 2.6 kernel _could_ ask you to install a new libc first, this is NOT a bug, and should *NOT* be reported. In that case, please add etch sources to your /etc/apt/sources list and run:
  apt-get install -t etch linux-image-2.6
Then reboot into this new kernel ,and proceed with your upgrade

小弟英文不好，大概好像是说我不是2.6的内核吧
按照它提示的我又
apt-get install -t etch linux-image-2.6
然后又会出现
Do you want to upgrade glibc now? [Y/n]
.....

如果想配置内核好像还得
apt-get install libncurses5-dev吧

如果那样运行的话又会出现Do you want to upgrade glibc now? [Y/n]

这不是自相矛盾嘛````
如果不想安装2.6内核的系统就用2.4的系统的话，请问有什么办法？

如高原之狼所说，你的源设置为 testing ，目前 testing 中没有 2.4 内核，并且使用高版本的 glibc 。如果不希望升级 glibc ，则考虑把 testing 换成 etch 或者 stable 。
