我的FC8识别我的CPU有问题么？

我是CORE2 的CPU 每次启动FC8时候都会在一个 启动cpus: 的地方失败。。。 速度太快了来不及看具体的
下次照下来
进入系统后 用grep CPU  grep ID 都查不到任何东西（光标停在开头不动 不能继续输入命令）
/proc/cpuinfo 打开来也是空白阿
谁能告诉我这是什么情况呢？ 谢谢了

但是为什么 grep CPU  grep ID都不能用呢？

不是cpus，而是cups吧：Common UNIX Printing System
