为何tor不能正常运行?

我安装tor之后，运行时提示如下：
[superman@localhost /]$ tor
Jan 14 02:55:18.229 [notice] Tor v0.1.2.6-alpha. This is experimental software.

tor: relocation error: /usr/lib/libevent-1.2a.so.1: symbol epoll_create, version GLIBC_2.3.2 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
请问这是什么意思？glibc版本不够吗？

要用root来运行，把tor加入到自动启动服务里。你使用的是哪个linux发行版？
#/etc/init.d/tor start
光有tor还不行，还要加上privoxy
#/etc/init.d/privoxy start

你的linux版本态老了？不支持epoll?

我的FoxyProxy提示在Firefox1.5以后不需要privoxy，是这样吗？
我用的RedHat 9，是不是老了
还是2.4内核老了

FoxyProxy这个我没用过，只要你的tor能安装上的话，就照我上面写的启动看看，另外还有配置文件需要写，这个网上有。

和你说了要用root启动呀！普通用户是不行的。
#/etc/init.d/tor start

看来是版本问题了。最好不要用rh9，选个最新发行的版本吧。
