安装libtiff的问题----->声卡问题

如果装BLFS,GCC必须要重新编译一次吗?为了支持更多的语言

tiff 已经更新到 3.8.2 了。

BLFS_SVN 中的方法我用着没问题。。。安装成功。

我用的是老版本的BLFS文档.刚下了BLFS6.1.全是英文的.麻烦...从头开始吧正在重装X11R6.8.2.installing.

XORG.完成了.XFCE4最小内容已经装好.

开始装的XORG好好.
晚上装XFCE.也一切正常.重启想进入XFCE.出现错误:Fatal Server Error! could not open default font "fixed"
跑到GOOGLE上找了半天.没有解决问题..

好象我该了什么.按照BLFS6.1中VII. X + Window Managers部分:Additional X Window System Configuration该的.不知是哪里的问题.郁闷ING

fontconfig在哪个目录下.后辍是什么.我不知道哪个是的.

我把xorg.conf中的Section "Files"字体部分全屏蔽掉.不解决问题.
把FONTS目录中的conf文件全改名,还是一样的错误提示.
把/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts下面的字体目录一个个的进行调整.如果把Type1修改掉的话.错误就会提示找不到字体路径.修改其它目录的都是:Fatal Server Error! could not open default font "fixed"
有的网上帖子说把xorg.conf中的字体路径屏蔽掉就行了.但我试了,行不通.好象错误的性质不同.

我不明白:#startx 后.以xorg.conf做为配置文件.我把字体路径屏蔽掉了.为什么还是出现这样的错误.在这个过程中.还有其它配置文件起到确定字体路径的作用吗?

还有:我曾把WINDOWS下的simsun.ttc文件cp到TTF字体目录.然后在目录下执行了#mkfontscale &&mkfontdir  并且我按BLFS操作了文章中的中"Setting up Fonts" 部分.内容如下:
Setting up Fonts

Users using character sets other than ISO-8859-1 have to make a few adjustments to their font settings in order to make sure that fonts with the correct encoding are used for "fixed", "variable", "10x20" and similar aliases:

For Cyrillic alphabet, it is sufficient to put the following line into the top of the "Files" section in XF86Config or xorg.conf because this directory already contains the needed bitmap fonts and their aliases:

FontPath   "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/cyrillic/"

For ISO-8859-[X] based locales, use the following command instead:

sed -i 's,iso8859-1\( \|$\),iso8859-[X]\1,g' \
    /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/{75dpi,100dpi,misc}/fonts.alias

感觉问题极有可能与这部分有关.包含有"fixd".
请版主帮我指示一下.麻烦告之fontconfig具体文件名.

我再看一下这段文章.还没看明白.英语水平有限....如果真不行,明天重新装XORG...真不想重新装.

我也没仔细研究过，不过 xorg.conf 最好让 Xorg 自己生成一个，然后再修改。。这样可以确保路径方面正确。

我现在用#Xorg -configure都执行不了.

我认为不是xorg.conf的问题.我再配置试试吧.

不行的话:
打算用FC5里的X11R6与etc/X11中的文件复制到LFS相关目录试试.
或者重新装X11R6.去网上找了一些fonts.dir fonts.scale ... 相关资料,帮助不在..

能试的我都不会去试.不急.只不过这两天时间不宽裕.

改名 xorg.conf 再运行 Xorg -configure。试试。
