关于gnome和kde

请各位谈谈这两个桌面的对比.
我自己用kde,觉得很方便也漂亮.
但现在gtk+ 2.8已经出来了,
也许gnome很快就会支持3d render.
速度会有大提升,
而kde就要等qt4.0和kde 4.0了

楼主, Gnome Vs KDE, gtk+ Vs QT, Win Vs Linux, C Vs C++, ...such questions could result in endless discussions and eventually become "水贴"!

In general, it is only a matter of perference. To end users, they are almost the same. To programmer, it is a matter of choice between C (Gnome) or C++ (KDE).

If you are very keen on trying bleeding edge stuff, then KDE may suit you because:

1. KDE release new versions more frequently
2. The latest GCC-4.x has lot of C++ optimizations, you may benefit from it.
