兄弟，这个问题想想就知道了。如果没有MS office如何能读word文档呢？
LiveCD没有安装open office如何读open office doc呢？Lfs Live CD安装了什么软件Live CD都有介绍的。
除非你自己做一个LiveCD包含open office软件在里面那么你就可以read open office doc了。

Yes. You can read MS .doc with WordPerfect, Hancom Word, Star Office, etc, not only "READ" but also "EDIT"

OpenOffice .doc can be read and edited on MS Word and vice versa. Before Open Office came into birth I used Star Office and AB Word to read and edit MS Word .doc.  I trust there is a way to read OpenOffice .doc with some other solution.  I only need to "READ" its content not to "EDIT" the same.  Of couse some format of the document will be lost.

I'm not considering Remastering as only using LFS LiveCD to build LFS.  Now I can connect outside world on running LFS LiveCD but I need to "READ" the .doc documents previously created sitting on the Hard Drive.
