我准备升级内核到2.6 现在是2.4  按照论坛上说的要升级module-init-tools 可是不能make啊

我用的redhat 好像没有rpm 我昨天大概的在www.rpmfind.com上粗略的看了一下  兄弟知道的给我推荐一个

帮帮忙啊  是不是从2.4-->2.6 一定要module-init-tools  我现在安装这个不成功  能不能直接升级 或者说升级后性能有没有什么影响 等待ing

没有人在升级的时候遇到过类似的问题么 给我一个提示也好啊  我下了一个module-init-tools 的RPM版本 同样安装不成功 说是Glib的版本不够高。

用apt先升RH9:

我rpm这个包之后 还需要什么命令来升级系统  是不是升级之后就可一编译新内核了 还需要module-init-tools 么
无法安装这个东西的

自己顶一下  
目前 apt-0.5.5cnc6-fr1.i386.rpm  这个包我重新下载安装了 现在能用了  不过用apt 来升级好慢啊 我看了 要用一天多的时间来下载软件.现在 module-init-tools 还是没有成功

请问apt-get upgrad 如果中途想暂停该怎么做 下在在升级的时候原来下载过的软件包（下载到一半的时候暂停了）是否能继续使用。
