I have dual system,one is Windows XP,the other is Linux(fc 3),

One thing I wanner know is Whether the Linux can take the place of

Windows,can Netscreen and  Lotus note be installed under Linux?

I have known that the we can install the fcitx for Chinese input,

and I also know that we can install the display card driver,but it need re-compile

the kernel,that is a little difficult to me,because I am a beginner .

Beside,the openoffice can do the same work as Windows Office,

if I can solve all of the problem above ,I think I will delete the Windows,

any advice will be appreciated,thank you.

netscreen 和 lotus 是什么东西？
装显卡驱动在 fc3 中不需要重编译内核。OOo 比起 M$ Office 还差一点，你的 w-- 要是正版就不要删掉了，别妨碍工作

lotus notes要等IBM了。。。
至于netscreen，是个什么dd？？看名字应该是远程监控之类的吧。ssh，telnet，远程Xclient或vnc好了

对啊，bush兄说的对，别妨碍工作。最近我也在用openoffice，感觉确实有差距的。留着双系统已备万一啊，呵呵

Keep ur Windows if u need those apps dedicated to Windows only.
Openoffice can handle MS docs pretty well, but it's not doing the same way as Windows Office. Even u use Windows only, Bear in mind that there are inter-operational problems between different versions of MS office also.
