LE2005加载nvida驱动之后有时不能自动登录x

我安装的是7174的驱动,加载nvida之后有时不能自动登录x,停在文本界面login:位置,比如这次,(之前什么也没做)有时又会发神经的自动登录。以前在10.2rc2下也是这个毛病,10.0和10.1下无此问题,换用7167驱动也是这个样子。不知为何。你们没有这种现象吗?

我也碰到了这种现象,然后用startx就可以启动X。有时能够自动进入X。
看Xorg.0.log里面说的错误,是No Screens Found.
我的nvidia驱动现在是7174.

看来不只是我一个人的问题了。你发现了没有startx可启动x,但配置你的计算机菜单成了英文。好像是startx时没设置语言的问题,这不能不说是一大遗憾啊!

下面是wiki.X.org上FAQ中相关内容。我的情况就是这样,用了一个Sun 21寸的显示器,但是官方只能支持1600x1200@76HZ,我要超频到85HZ,就自己写了Mode。奇怪的是,如果用startx可以启动的呀,实验室中别人的显示器都是这样用的。

Message: "Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
You get an error message:

In most cases this means there are no video modes available for your configuration. Each entry in the list of specified or default video modes gets checked if it lies withing the limit or the hardware: if it lies within the sync range specified or probed for the monitor, if it will work with the memory available on the video card or if the pixel clock lies within the range supported by the chipsets. There are many more limits. For each rejected mode you can see in the log file the reason for rejection:

我以前试过加在/etc/modules 和 /etc/rc.local里都没有成功过。

这句话是什么意思?不加载nvidia模块会有nvidia驱动吗?你这样做能解决加载nvida驱动之后有时不能自动登录x  的 问题吗?

即使是Club版本,使用mandrake编译好的nvidia驱动,有时候也是不能。不过重装之后似乎有改善。
建议使用up-to-4GB或者up-to-1GB的内核
