If your Linux box is not the same machine as windoze, then you can:

1. Setup SAMBA to access windoze via SMB protocol
2. use FTP to access the windoze FTP server through ftp protocol
3. use your web browser to visit your windoze web server via http protocol
4. access via VPN
...

There are many ways to connect Linux and windoze together.
