有没有人成功将/boot安装在reiser4分区的？？

我的LFS安装在了reiser4分区，一切都好，速度也很快，但是grub安装不上 :help
使用的是grub-0.95-reiser4-20041021
[PHP]    GNU GRUB  version 0.95  (134793016K lower / 926167857K upper memory)

[ Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported.  For the first word, TAB
   lists possible command completions.  Anywhere else TAB lists the possible
   completions of a device/filename. ]

grub> root (hd0,2)
Filesystem type is reiser4, partition type 0x200

grub> setup (hd0,2)Segmentation fault[/PHP]
现在只能用Gentoo的grub引导LFS的内核来启动
我的LFS的分区应该是在1024柱面之后的，不知道现在的grub还是否有这个限制？
使用grub-install /dev/hda3来安装，没有任何信息，直接等在那里

完全没有必要用reiserfs,因为日志要占用32M的空间，用ext2这32M就够/boot分区用了，一般以只读
mount就可以了，除非安装内核

你分出一个boot分区(非reiser4)来给gentoo和lfs公用不是很好么
以后grub支持reiser4时再把boot改为reiser4就可以了

p.s. grub早就没有1024的限制了

关键问题是：
我已经无法再分出一个主分区了！！
我现在已经是3个主分区+1个扩展分区
XP、GENTOO、LFS都是在主分区的；连RHELAS3都是放在逻辑分区上了。

既然gentoo的grub可以引导，就没必要在lfs里装grub了。

I have successfully installed GRUB 0.96 on reiser4 which is located in a Primary partition

In my discovery it seems that reiser4-GRUB will gradually become less efficent than others because it can not use the reiser4_1.5_stage

You'd better not install GRUB on reiser4
