建议用yum升级你的stardict，自带的版本很低，功能很弱。

i have downloaded the new version of that but  i just cant istall it ,for the error messenges in the making process like the following:

what's wrong with it? my system is rh9,and updated the kernel to 2.9.1-rc3, machine is thunis lap-top ad610 with amd 1800+

and i have tried your method.Excellent,it just works,very good. the problem is why i cant install it myself?
