mplayer放不了中文srt字幕

英文字幕都ok，
放中文srt字幕时，显示已经找到字幕文件了：
SUB: Detected sub file: jordan.srt
SUB: Detected subtitle file format: subviewer
SUB: Read 668 subtitles.
SUB: Adjusted 565 subtitle(s).

但是根本没字幕出来，乱码也没有，装了个gb2312-ming字体，错误信息为：
osd text out of range: bbox [253 259 233 256], txt [249 249 233 256] 0 2%
osd text out of range: bbox [253 259 233 256], txt [245 245 233 256]
osd text out of range: bbox [253 259 233 256], txt [241 257 233 256]
...

已经在~/.mplayer/config中加了
unicode=1
subcp=cp936
