安装第二块硬盘后，启动顺序发生变化时的解决方案

我的是T43，安装好F8后把它单独放在托盘里启动一切正常（hd0 此时还是sda）
这时在主硬盘位置放入一个硬盘后，再启动时就会有这样的信息出现
Checking filesystems
fsck.ext3 no such file or directory while trying to open /dev/sda8

然后就只能重新启了。上面显示sda8 是因为我的linux装在第8个逻辑分区上。本来装F7的时候没这样的事情，适应性很好，硬盘位置变更后没出过问题，不晓得F8为啥反而变弱了。

关机 ，把主硬盘卸下，然后启动系统进F8

/boot/grub/device.map里的sda全改成sdb
/etc/fstab 里的sda也全改成sdb

关机，把另外的那个硬盘接上，启动，一切ok了

I also installed the F8 on my T60 in the 2nd HD with Ultrabay-Slim. When I was installing F8, the 2nd HD was recognized as sda but the original primary HD was recognized as sdb. Looks strange.
And no matter I have the primary HD plugged in or not, I can always boot from 2nd HD to logon F8 (My grub was installed in 2nd HD).

我比较胆小，怕遇到什么不测丢失数据，所以装的时候是把第2块硬盘从托盘里拆下来放到主硬盘位置上装的（主硬盘放一边）,装完后再放回托盘里。
因此，安装好以后默认的就是sda，我装FC6，F7的时候也都是这个步骤一切正常，唯独到F8的时候需要手动修改，蛮怪异的。

我现在的这个F8也是这样装的，我也是怕影响主盘上的办公数据和资料。呵呵。
不过我没有碰到你的问题哦， Grub装在HDD1上的，然后启动的时候直接选HDD1来启动就好了

如果 fstab 用硬盘ID 号进行mount的话，应该没有问题。。。
