fedora8中装了ati8.42的驱动，结果mplayer -vo xv播放时没有抗锯齿效果

8.42的驱动的性能果然是降低了，
用mplayer -vo gl来播放，有视频延迟。
如果用mplayer -vo xv来播放，
又只能看原始尺寸，如果放大，
就不清晰，
出现一个个的方块块。

请问，在fedora8中装8.42.3驱动的，
有没有使用mplayer -vo xv全屏播放也正常的？
如果有，
麻烦把xorg.conf贴出来看看。

官方驱动存在一些问题，不是通过xorg.conf就可以解决的。
选择正确的vo可以减少这种影响。同样的情况下，采用readon的驱动效果会更好。

你用的是readon的驱动么？没有问题么？
我是用yum安装的kmod的驱动。

$ rpm -qa | grep fglrx
kmod-fglrx-8.42.3-8.lvn8
kmod-fglrx-2.6.23.1-49.fc8-8.42.3-8.lvn8
xorg-x11-drv-fglrx-8.42.3-7.lvn8.1

系统自带驱动3D性能比较差，但是2D性能优越，兼容性好，看电影很好阿。

新驱动fps高不少，不过系统带的稳定，兼容好

新的驱动glxgears的结果确实提高很多，
但是我以前用8.40的时候用-vo gl，就可以放很多电影，
现在用8.42的驱动随便放一个原始尺寸稍微大一点的电影，
就不行了。。。

现在只要播放一会儿，
就会出现这个乱东东：
           **** Your system is too SLOW to play this!  ****
           ************************************************

Possible reasons, problems, workarounds:
- Most common: broken/buggy _audio_ driver
  - Try -ao sdl or use the OSS emulation of ALSA.
  - Experiment with different values for -autosync, 30 is a good start.
- Slow video output
  - Try a different -vo driver (-vo help for a list) or try -framedrop!
- Slow CPU
  - Don't try to play a big DVD/DivX on a slow CPU! Try some of the lavdopts,
    e.g. -vfm ffmpeg -lavdopts lowres=1:fast:skiploopfilter=all.
- Broken file
  - Try various combinations of -nobps -ni -forceidx -mc 0.
- Slow media (NFS/SMB mounts, DVD, VCD etc)
  - Try -cache 8192.
- Are you using -cache to play a non-interleaved AVI file?
  - Try -nocache.

我的本本是T2300的cpu，内存2G，
照说放什么电影都可以的。
我没有windows，
现在看来只有等着新的驱动出来，
再看看有无改观。。。
