yum 问题

我是教育网用户，因为在教育网不能上国外网站，找代理又太麻烦，所以想设置YUM在国内某个大学更新，文件设置好了之后，老是说ftp://ftp.cuhk.hk//pub/Linux/dis ... epodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 4] IOError: [Errno ftp error] timed out
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: updates. Please verify its path and try again

还有上海交大的也是这样，不知道为什么？请那位大侠指点一下。。。。。
