为什么， 我在使用

apt－ get   update

然后使用

apt－ get  install     xmms

系统总提示一些

好像是依存关系的信息，  奇怪 apt 不是可以自动解决依存关系的问题马？

最后一行不是告诉你解决的办法了吗：
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

意思就是执行“apt-get -f install”，不要包含任何软件包名。

apt-get是可以自动解决依赖性问题，但前提是你的安装源不能有依赖性的矛盾，比如说同时使用stable、sid性质完全不同的发行包，就会让apt-get不知所措。最好检查一下你的sources.list确认一下。

即使用多发行版也是可以的，不过你要指明你的主发行版是什么！
