scim -d failed

I have downloaded and installed the SCIM 1.4.4 and IME pinyin, but execute scim -d failed,
What's wrong with it? Anyone could give me some suggestions? Thank you.

scim 1.4.4似乎有些问题. 下载scim 1.2.3后安装执行scim -d可以成功.

但是现在ctrl+space还是没反应?那里还需要设置一下? 我的系统ubuntu英文的,locale : EN_US.UTF8.
