关于64位源应用程序的问题。

如果用64位的DEBIAN，可不可以用32位的源？
32位的应用程序和驱动，可以在64位的DEBIAN正常运行吗？
如果不能，那一些64位的体系还兼容32位的指令集干嘛呢？

64为debian可以运行32位的应用，但必须安装32位的运行库。

原来如此啊。怪不得我试运行32位程序，系统总是提示无法找到文件。

不过，我现在懒得安装和做其它的努力来使用32位的程序，因为64位的程序对我已经够用了，没有缺少几个32位下同功能的程序。

我使用的64位的源：

这种方法我也试过了，还是搞不定，不知是不是我的办法有误？

拿安装opear为例，在64环境下安装不了，在chroot 32环境下安装，需要安装一大陀的软件，看了看需要安装的软件包列表，就是另一个完整的32位debian。

如果32的程序要如此使用的话，那还有什么意义？
