umount 问题

RED HAT LINUX AS3 ,/var是单独分区，每次重启/关机都会出现“umount /var device is busy”这个错误。在网上看到说可以修改/etc/rc.d/init/halt脚本，把[color="Red"]umount -f $remaining 改为[color="Red"]umount -l -t $remaining。
请问使用umount 使用-l参数有什么危险吗？

下面是umount -l的说明：

       -l     Lazy unmount. Detach the filesystem from the filesystem  hierar-
              chy now, and cleanup all references to the filesystem as soon as
              it is not busy anymore.  (Requires kernel 2.4.11 or later.)
